Dr. Stacy
Owner / Veterinarian
Dr. Stacy Fuchino graduated from University of Pennsylvania's acclaimed Veterinary School and has been practicing in small animal medicine for over 10 years. He is the owner and medical director of a small animal hospital in Southern California. Dr. Fuchino has sat on the board of directors for multiple animal organizations and is the consulting veterinarian for the nation's first chain luxury animal boarding facility. Dr. Fuchino uses the integration of western and eastern medicine to achieve wellness for his animal patients. He is an accomplished pet health author with work featured in professional, scientific and pet care journals, newspapers, and pet websites including a recent featured in the Sunday New York Post. Dr. Fuchino is also the founder of the non-profit foundation MERC which deals with medical and educational resources to help all animals worldwide.
Dr. Fuchino’s television affiliations have been numerous in the area of pets and how they enhance the human pet bond. His pet shows include America’s Top Dog (A & E TV), Animal ER (TBS), and Housecat Housecall (Animal Planet). He is in the development stage of a show featuring his unique practices.
Dr. Fuchino’s latest passion is his book “Feng Shui Pet Vet”. In this book, he has an eye opening guide that demonstrates how centuries of Eastern healing can enhance Western Veterinary Care, helping pets to live happier, healthier and longer lives.This is an engaging lifestyle book which compiles everything from pet problems to diet to living space and anecdotes.

| Dr. Yen Chou, DVM
Conventional, Acupuncture, & Herbals
Dr. Yen Chou was born in Taipei, Taiwan. She spent the first 12 years of her life in Taiwan until her family decided to immigrate to Torrance in Southern California. For her undergraduate years she studied Biology at the University of California, Santa Cruz. From there on she continued her studies at College of Veterinary Medicine at Western University of Health Science and graduated in May of 2009. Dr. Yen has a special interest in internal medicine, dentistry, acupuncture, Chinese food therapy, and herbal medicine. During her final years in veterinary school she rotated through various specialty hospitals in the nation such as Angell Medical Center in Boston and the Colorado State University Veterinary Hospital. She attended acupuncture and Chinese food therapy training at the Chi Institute in December of 2008 and May of 2009, respectively. Dr. Chou is currently working towards a Master Degree in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) through Chi Institute and China Southwest University, which will require her to be certified in Chinese herbology, food therapy, acupuncture, and tui-na, a Chinese medical massage and manipulation technique. Dr. Chou's believe that optimal patient care is achieved by providing both Eastern and Western therapy.
In 2010, Dr. Yen was invited to join the P.V. Village Pet Clinic which she gladly accepted. She is currently a member of American Veterinary Medical Association, American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association, and California Veterinary Medical Association. Her hobbies include cooking, hiking, listening to music, and watching movies. On warm sunny afternoons she enjoys napping with her two domestic short hair (DSH) cats, Ninja and Shadow. |
